Scrap 'Til Dawn - Design Team

The time has come to announce the new members of the Scrap 'Til Dawn Design Team. First, we would like to thank all those who submitted their amazing work. We had a tremendous turnout and are incredibly impressed with the level of talent exhibited by all those who entered. A special thanks goes out to Laura who helped in the difficult decision making process.

Chrys Queen Rose - Design Team Coordinator

Hi!!! My name is Chrys Queen Rose. I am a SAHM with two small boys, James is almost 4 and Andrew just turned 19 months. I am married to my best friend Mark for almost 6 years. We live in sunny and hot Tracy, California not too far away from San Francisco Bay Area. We also have three adorable kitties: Vader, Jasmine and Orion. I have been scrapping for over 13 years when I had to do a graduation requirement in High School, and within the last 15 months have I taken my love and passion for this hobby into the professional designing side. I consider my style to be artistic and I take elements from other hobbies that I do and incorporate them into my scrapbooking. I also love to alter anything that sits still long enough! I am blessed to be on other design teams and to be published in CorrespondanceART, Scrapbook Trends and a book by Carson-Dellosa called Memorabilia Matters.

Trish Adams

Hi! I’m Trish Adams, a SAHM of 2 beautiful girls. Ashley is 16 and Erica is 11 years old. I recently celebrated my 15th wedding anniversary and my 34th birthday. Shhhh.. don’t tell anyone because I plan on staying 29 forever! We live in the same southeast Kentucky town where we were both born and raised. I have been scrapbooking for 7 years now and love everything about it. I love both digital and paper designs and spent a lot of time “collecting” supplies for both. My favorite scrapbook companies are BasicGrey and Junkitz. I’m a sucker for great patterned paper and think I have to have the whole collection when I find one I like. I love using sketches when I scrap. I’m not really sure what my style is but when I find out I’ll let you know!

Aimee Ferguson

Hi! I am so excited to be part of the Scrap Til Dawn Design Team!! I am 32 years old, married to my best friend, and we have three beautiful children. They are my main scrapping inspiration, I could scrap pictures of their faces over and over again! I am completely obsessed with this hobby...actually it’s more appropriate to call it my passion. As I am sure you all know exactly what I mean, right?

My other interests include photography, reading, gardening, watching NBA with my hubby, having coffee with friends, being active in our church, watching my kids and hubby ride their dirtbikes(someday I will have my four-wheeler!), and about a million other things!! I love life and do my best to always be positive, no matter what it brings my way.

Kara has put together a fantastic team, I am so impressed by their work!! I will do my best to inspire you too, and I hope to make lots of friends along the way!!

Jamie Gavin

Hello, my name is Jamie and. I am a SAHM with two beautiful girls Sydnee who is 5 and Kynadee who is 3 ( they are alot of my focus in my scrapbooking). I am have been married to the love of my life Jerod for 7 years.....I began scrapping about 7 or 8 years ago when a friend introduced me to scrapbooking through a CTMH party and since then I have been hooked. My style in my scrapbooking changes almost monthly. There are days I want very plain and simple and other when I want it all on a page.

Alicia Geiss

My name is Alicia. I have been married for almost 25 years (this October) to a wonderful, supportive, patient husband. We have four beautiful children (ages 11, 8, 6 and 4) which I adore with all my heart. It took us 13 years to finally see our first child being born, and we are still in awe every time we look at our family which God has given us. They are my passion. They are the reason I scrap. I want them to know years after I am gone how much I loved them.

I also jog between 3 and 4 miles per day for stress relief, love to play tennis, and enjoy an occasional Dairy Queen Moo Latte (yum! yum!). I am a legal assistant 3 days per week and enjoy working in the field of law.

I started scrapping less than 2 years ago when I returned from Hawaii. I became obsessed at that time and love this craft. It is my outlet to show my feelings, emotions, experiment with what artistic ability I do have, and I love it. My style is evolving and I would say it is an ecclectic style depending on my mood.

I am so excited about being on this team at Scrap Til Dawn and getting to work with such talented scrappers.

Becky Thackston

Hi! My name is Becky Thackston. I live just outside of Atlanta, Georgia with my husband Billy , our two children, Kayla and Shawn, and my 3 cats. I work full time as a Licensed Optician but my heart and soul is in scrapbooking. I have been a scrapper now for over 10 years and love every ounce of it. I enjoy making pages for family and friends just to see them smile. Over the years I have slowly taken over our dining room and converted it into my art room. Here I can find my quiet time and let the ideas flow. I have been blessed to be published in several magazines and Idea Books and continue to strive further in this craft that is so much fun to me. I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Scrap 'Til Dawn Design Team.
